Scent isn’t just a sense. it’s a portal. It invites us to transcend the visual and embrace the SUBLIME.
ABOUT ME
I'm Angela Larisch, a multidisciplinary designer based in Portland, Oregon. I began my design journey with a BFA in Applied Visual Arts, leading to a rich career in graphic design and branding. In 2017, I discovered scent design and was fascinated by its power to transcend the visual. Through research and experimentation, I quickly embraced scent as an untapped creative medium with the potential to create deeply compelling experiences.
Under the mentorship of legendary perfumer Mandy Aftel and through ongoing education with organizations like the Institute for Art and Olfaction, I have honed my craft and deepened my understanding of fragrance’s potential. Ceremony is my personal practice where the worlds of branding, art, and sensory design converge.

THE MEANING BEHIND THE NAME
Ceremonies are profound: they mark transitions, create meaning, and connect us to something larger. The name Ceremony reflects my belief that fragrance holds this same potential to transport our minds, transform spaces, and awaken us to moments of sublime beauty.
